Fireplace FAIL

In: cat| life

14 Dec 2008

So, one of the nice things about having a fireplace is, occasionally, burning wood in it.  (Particularly since the rest of the time it is a large and tempting cat playground full of soot, and therefore must be roped off).
Except that my apartment complex STILL hasn’t had the chimney inspector guy come out to make [...]

Easy Chicken Soup

In: kitchen

12 Dec 2008

This is my standard chicken soup.  It’s good, WAY better than stuff from a can, good for you, and quick enough that it’s doable after a long day (or when fighting off a cold).  It doesn’t involve making stock, or any of those really long, slow things.

Stay awhile and look around, who knows what you'll find?

  • Anna: @Wai - Ahahahahaha. I wish, right?! [...]
  • Wai Wurrie: Step 14) Profit? Ahem, sorry. Couldn't resist! *grins* [...]
  • Angelya: Hi Anna, I just wanted to thank you for putting this recipe up - I tried it recently and it was so [...]
  • Shorty: Rosemary and pork is a match made in heaven. And garlic, but I like garlic in about 90% of the food [...]
  • Amber: 1) Start to write. 2) Get interrupted. 3) Resume writing. 4) Repeat steps 1-3 any number of times [...]
