“God grant me the serenity to know the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference”
Or something like that.
Anyway – there are lots of things going on in my life right now that I can’t change.
I can’t change that the house we’re buying is being sold by the Relocation Company of WE KILL TREES that requires us to sign and initial every single page in triplicate.
I can’t change the speed at which they respond, or the fact that we will have to wait regardless.
I can’t change the fact that I’ve had chronic pain, and that it’s getting worse, and that it’s affecting more joints (in my arms now, as well as knees and hips, though not my hands at least).
What can I change?
I can stop paying for a gym membership that I’ve not been able to use. I can exercise at home, at my own pace, and do yoga and stretch. I can walk. I can talk to people and plan my new house and pick out fun paint colors.
And dammit, I can be a redhead if I want.
(it’s only for a few weeks anyway)
